Why are you the best candidate for this position
There are two advantages that earn my confidence as a competitive candidate for this position.
Firstly, coming from a developing country like Vietnam, I am familiar with the market traits of developing regions, many of which might be akin to the situation in Pakistan. My skills as an IR student of Asian regions, specifically the developing nations, extends to getting to understand the political and social situation of Pakistan - which, I consider, would build the ground for market analysis. About marketing know-how required for the position, what I learned from my Principle of Marketing course familiarized me with the basic definitions such as segmentation strategy, brand visibility, etc.
Another great interest I found after hybrid courses between International Relations and Business Economics is Corporate Governance. I assume that as a food company, assuring the best interests of customers/stakeholders is both the company’s responsibility and chances to promote its value to customers. I hope that what I learn from several Corporate Governance models of Japanese corporations would become an asset for future marketing ideas in Pakistan.
As someone who has studied in Japan for nearly four years, I have adapted Japan’s disciplined working style, as well as their emphasis on team spirit. Working remotely can demand a high level of punctuation and co-operation, which I’m proud to claim that I have. My free schedule in the upcoming two months might be a plus, too. I have finished my thesis and don’t do any part-time job right now. That guarantees my 100% focus on the internship.
In short, what I might lack in knowledge, I can make up in effort and time.
