Why are you the best candidate for this position

Why are You the Best Candidate for This Position

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am writing this letter to apply for the currently open remote internship in TSUCHIYA CO., LTD. As for the minimum study level, the level being specified is undergraduate in the website. However, it also mentions that advanced English language skills are required, as well as basic PC skills are additional factors that will make me as a preferred candidate for enrollment to this position. I am currently enrolled in Universitas Prasetiya Mulya on my first year and I received my high school completion certification from Bina Bangsa School Pantai Indah Kapuk, where I spent more than four years practicing advanced English speaking and writing, as well as using the language in almost all the subjects I have learnt, from Mathematics to the fields of sciences. As for the basic PC skills, the current pandemic era has provided me with the necessary motivation to improve my skills in using a computer, from using Microsoft applications to create various documents to hosting and joining video calls/conferences for classes.

Despite of the fact that I have no formal marketing academic background which constitutes as one of the requirements for this position, I am still confident to apply for it because I am honest, punctual, respectful and conscientious. I may not have learned about market research at all, but I am still determined to learn its skills and understanding. The nature of class work I have often been provided with in the university has helped me strengthen my social and team work skills, which was first being developed when I attended the HMCA (Harvard Model Congress Asia) hosted in Hong Kong. Given that I have no previous professional or organizational experience, I am optimistic that this opportunity will help me gain an insight and a deeper understanding about professional careers, as well as the unique work culture Japanese people have in the pandemic era. I have included my curriculum vitae that you can read to learn more about my educational background and experiences.

Thank you for your time and consideration. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Michael Hadinata Tjoa
