Why are you the best candidate for this position

Apart from having taken the right courses at my Unicersity (LUMS) that have enabled me to aopt the persective of an analyst and act accordingly, I also have leadership traits that can be of great use to this opportunity. I would like to mention a recent leadership experience I had where I was put to lead in a completely alien situation for me, with people from a diverse field of work, and how my goal oriencted approach, leadership skills, ability to design strategies, socialising skills and team building skills helped me to achieve the target:

Back when I was serving as a Director at The Music Society of LUMS, I noticed how the 'Security and Accommodations' department was never recognized as a proper department despite having such a crucial back-end role. I realized why the department itself and its former leaderships were partly to be blamed for their downfall too. It was about time that I felt that the change must come from within the department instead of waiting and watching it falling apart before my own eyes. Therefore, during my tenure, I reinvented the recruitment system for the department, re-organized the department and with my Assistant directors revamped the process and schedules of backend tasks which provided the department greater visibility. Apart from that I also made the work fun for the members which was previously seen as a 'boring job that makes you miss on the event' by introducing the rotational serving slots and encouraging members to actively engage in volunteering activities. This whole reinvention was not only supported by my colleagues but also was received with overwhelming enthusiasm by the subordinates who now portrayed greater loyalty towards the department, enjoyed their work, received special recognition from the executive council at all events and above all, the 5 future directors/ADs emerged from my department, most in history of the music society from any department, let alone the security and accommodations.

This perhaps shows that I know the selling points of my team and I know how to sell those selling points and capitalise on them!
