About the company

Our core business is web marketing consulting. Our strength is to support all aspects of marketing from strategic planning to the actual operation. We develop various services to support companies to grow in order to change the Japanese society, where the birth rate is declining and the population is aging. Our members are all from AIESEC and are committed to changing the world, starting in Japan. In addition, we are currently considering a business using cross-border EC as a new business.

Role

Overview

The participant will research the local demands and promotion methods of Japanese products in the participant’s home country. We would like him/her to focus on researching the demand for Japanese products and sales promotion methods that cannot be reached only from a Japanese point of view by utilizing their perspectives S/he will elaborate their ideas and analysis by applying their research on cross-border e-commerce.

Responsibilities

- Learn and understand the cross-border e-commerce business model with support from employees (1 week) (Study independently based on handouts and receive explanations through meetings)
- Write a report on learnings about cross-border e-commerce and receive feedback to deepen their knowledge.
(*Feedback will be done via chat, meetings, etc.)
- List up Japanese products that may be in demand in the trainees' home country and neighboring countries. Determine which of these products to focus on through meetings and conduct further research on demand and promotion methods for these products.
- Submit a report on the research mentioned above and receive feedback.

- Search and analyze what kind of products will have demand and what kind of sales promotion methods can be applied, if utilizing cross-border e-commerce.
Summarize and present the research results to the members of the company once a week in English.
- Reflect on what was learned throughout the training. Evaluate and analyze their business models using cross-border EC, and present it to the members of the company.
- Participate in cultural exchange opportunities to share and discuss the cultures of both the trainees' home country and Japan.
