TOKYO TEA BLENDERS is a tea brand that is run by alumni of AIESEC. We sell pesticide-free Japanese black tea. We launched the tea subscription service in May 2021. Official tea instructors select high-quality tea. Also, we cover a story about the production of tea from tea producers and we deliver the story to our customers.

Role

Overview

We would like you to research the cases of social marketing in the world to improve the Japanese market and services. Also, we expect to research the marketability of Japanese black tea in your country. You would gain the ability to provide SDGs or ethical activity. It is important that you are interested in the food production process and ethical marketing to make the world better and you will try to approach the customer with better words and images. We welcome tea lovers.

Responsibilities

- Researching cases of social marketing
You will research the cases of the companies which practice social marketing, related to SDGs and Ethicality, and community marketing. Example: Patagonia, Lululemon, focused on food company

- Researching the cases of SNS marketing
You will research how the companies communicate with their customers through SNS.

- Market research in your country
You will research the tea market in your country based on the objective data and the interview. Then, you will consider how to approach the potential market which will import high value-added tea produced in Japan.

- Researching and Learning about marketing analysis tools
You will research and learn about marketing analysis tools like Google Analytics.

- Tasting Japanese black tea and reporting the taste
You will drink the sample of the tea produced in Japan. Then, you will express the taste of the tea and ask other people the impression of the taste of the tea.

- Creating a landing page for Japanese black tea
You will create a landing page to introduce Japanese black tea. (You will use Wix when you create the page.)

- Posting SNS
You will try to share your learning on our SNS account using social marketing research. Also, you will set the effect key performance indicator and check the effect by marketing tools.

- Improving landing page and SNS
You will try again and experience the process of improving the landing page and SNS.

- Application through AIESEC’s Virtual Professional Program website (until 30/4/2022)
- Shortlisted Candidates based on CV and Portfolio will have the first interview with AIESEC online (until 7/5/2022)
- The candidates who have successfully passed the first interview will have a final interview with the company (until 20/5/2022)
- The candidate who has passed all the interviews will submit a recommendation letter from his or her university and sign up a contract (until 30/5/2022)
